Pumkins

This past year we visited the local farmers market. Found alot of produce you wouldent find in stores because it is not popular.  Much of the produce you find at farmers markets can be higher in nutrents than store found.   Now back to the sugar pumkins. The kids picked sugar pumkins. We let them sit for a few months to become sweeter.  It was baked in the oven at 350 for a little over a hr till the flesh was easly pearced with a fork.
After baking i scoped out the flesh and put it through my blender to purray it. Then promplty made fresh pumkin bread.
To not be wastefull. The seeds were washed and mixed with 1 tbs olive oil and a dash of salt and pepper. Being still moist at 350 it took them about 20 mins to become good and taisty.
Due to the ice and snow instead of chucking the pumkin shell and stringy stuff in the trash. It was thrown out for the abundent wild life. All got yummies
